PLEASE do not use Lions Gate 800 number OR their website to reserve your rooms!!The rooms blocking info is with the hotel, not the nationwide group.....and this is not a normal hotel....there are many unusual options in inventory. See below.
The way the Lions Gate Hotel is laid out is very different from other hotels, this was McClelland Airforce base, so it is spread over a few lovely grassy tree-lined blocks, and includes what used to be Officer’s Quarters (known as cottages) as part of the room accommodations, giving you many options. Some of the “cottages” are 2 blocks from the main section of the hotel. Also the ballroom/dining room/bar/pool/Reservations desk and community rooms are in their own building, separate from the hotel sleeping rooms or suites, which are located in two separate buildings. The entire area is wonderful for walking dogs or yourself. Please read the following carefully.
Our room block is as follows: We have 4 One room Cottages , 3 Two room Cottages, 2 Three Room Cottages blocked off for our group. The smaller ones are one story each, the larger ones are 2 story each. They are like little apartments to little homes depending on size. Some have a mud room, one or two have kitchens. Some may be a short block or two from the ballroom, so a bit of a walk. These go very fast, so book early.
On the suites we have 15 One bd. suites, and 1 two bedroom suite blocked for us. You can view the descriptions of the rooms/suites/cottages on the Lions Gate website, and see descriptions below.
Just be sure to use local number for reservations, NOT online, as specific room bookings must be done at the hotel local number.
The Room Types and Rates are as follows, please read carefully so you know what to expect:
Double – 109.00 (TWO double beds) Queen - $109.00 (ONE queen sized bed) King - $109.00 (ONE King sized bed) One Bedroom Suite - $109.00 (ONE queen sized bed and a living room area w/sofabed) Two Bedroom Suite - $109.00 (ONE Queen bdrm, & ONE double bdrm, also has living room area w/sofabed), AND TWO baths!!! according to Aziza. There is only one of these at this time....not sure there will be any more. One Room Cottage - $129.00 Two Room Cottage - $129.00 Three Room Cottage - $200.00 Four Room Cottage - $220.00 (has some yard as well) Some of the cottages also have a neat 'mud room' for crate storage. PET FEES: There is a one time Fee of $75.00 however if the room is left in good condition, $50.00 of that is REFUNDABLE. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF OUR HOTEL!!!! We want to use them again!!!!!!
I hope that clarifies things, this hotel is very unusual in the variation of room types they have in inventory, and there are limits on availability of certain types. |
